FAQs

  • What if I can't dance?

This is a common question. The answer is simple: lessons! Anyone can learn to dance salsa and bachata. Even if you think you have terrible rhythm and coordination, you can learn to dance.

  • Do I need a partner?

Nope. You can show up to class with or without a partner. Students typically rotate during class so you'll have the opportunity to meet and dance with many different people.

  • Is it difficult?

No. You'll be amazed at how quickly you realize that you're actually dancing! We'll teach you to count and step to the music in a way that you'll understand.

  • Is it expensive?

Salsa and bachata lessons and clubs are very inexpensive. Plus, you get a lot more enjoyment for your dollar than most activities.

  • Are these lessons for adults or children?

This dance coupon is mainly for adult salsa and bachata classes. The majority of salsa students are in their 20's, 30's, and 40's; however, many salsa students are 50+ and use the classes to stay active and healthy.

  • Do I need special dance shoes?

You can start dance lessons in any comfortable shoes. Rubber soles tend to stick to the floor, so we recommend men wear a leather sole shoe. Women typically dance in heels, but not always. Bring a couple pairs of shoes to your first salsa or bachata lesson and you can decide what works best.

  • Will I be surrounded by people who are really good?

We have salsa and bachata lessons for beginners, intermediate, and advanced. With an unlimited pass, you'll be able to move at your own pace and try different classes.
